Dr. Tuan Nguyen is a board-certified Neurosurgeon. Dr. Nguyen graduated from Texas A&M University with his M.D. He continued to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Jackson to complete his General Surgery Internship and Neurosurgery Residency as well as his AO Ortho Spine Fellowship. He is a current member of The American Association of Neurological Surgeons and The Congress of Neurosurgeons.

Dr. Nguyen has a deep passion for mentoring trainees and teaching courses about neurosurgery and neuro trauma. He taught several courses at The University of Mississippi Medical Center as an Instructor of Neurosurgery and an Instructor of Orthopedics. Dr. Nguyen received the G.V. Sonny Montgomery Veteran Affairs Medical Center Award for Outstanding Achievement as the Surgical House Staff Physician.

Dr. Nguyen specializes in craniotomies, shunts, spinal decompressions, spinal fusions, and minimally invasive spine surgeries. He has special interest in brain tumors, vascular malformations, traumatic brain injuries, herniated discs, and spinal stenosis
