Dr. Jones specializes in and is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He is a native Alabamian born in Albertville and a graduate of Mountain Brook High School. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Science degree. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and went on to complete a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at Emory’s School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Jones has a particular interest in cervical and lumbar disc disease, revisions of previous surgeries, and procedures involving hardware. He has presented at various seminars and is a member of numerous professional organizations including the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Association of Alabama.
